Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Easiest for foreigners!

As a foreigner on a visa that renews ever couple of years, my experience with traditional big banks always involved lots of waiting and going back and forth with paperwork, and I was super pleased with how easy it was to apply for an account with Starling and get it approved and working within 24 hours. I love the level of control I have within the app and the no-fee arrangement when travelling abroad is really useful when visiting my family overseas (not to mention the card itself is a beautiful teal and the paper pocket it comes packaged in is a stationery-lover’s dream). Easy, hassle free banking

I’ve had problems with a 2 high street banks with their customer service not being the best. I joined starling and from day 1 it has been hassle free, I love the app, customer service is 5* I love the spaces where you can save/have goals for different things. Perfect everyday banking. Banking as it should be

With the demise of high street banks I found opening an account difficult without having to take time off work or travelling a fair distance distance to my ‘local’ branch Within 10 minutes of my account application, from the comfort of my own home, I was a Starling Bank customer. The app is easy to navigate, showing me exactly where my money has gone and what services I use. The ‘Spaces’ feature is a great way to visualise my saving goals The only issue I experienced (through my own fault, I forgot my account password) was resolved to promptly.
