How banking should be...

Ask a hundred people if they like their back and 90 will probably say no. I jag’s several accounts with different banks and all they do is write to letters telling you they’re savings interest is going down and their overdrafts are going up! Most banks are rip off’s... however Starling is the exception... they are shot no fuss and as much technology that they can have to make it easy to manage your own money! Customer services is great. In a world that the competition is so bad it’s probably not hard to beat the rest but please don’t ever get complacent Starling... stay ahead of the rest and keep listening to tour customers needs... How banking should be

I've used lots of banks (and worked for two of them) and Starling is a breath of fresh air. Took me just a few minutes to set up an account and every step since then has been simplicity itself. This is the first bank that have totally conquered digital banking

Extraordinary. I am an ex senior manager with Barclays Bank and have been treated like dirt to the point of I have been trying to get 99% of my personal accounts and share dealing accounts transferred to StaRling Bank and because my account has been involved in fraudulent transactions have blocked all my accounts including Interactive share dealing one. In addition reported it to the police who called at my house to arrest me. Unbelievably In going into the local bank of Scotland branch three days ago the manager was abusive for no reason except they had also blocked all my accounts and were refusing to allow me any withdrawals. I called in at 11am and at 12,15 the police walked into the bank and said if I did not leave the bank I would be arrested. I have a remarkable capacity in dealing with dealing with these situations as I used to teach the skills as a business consultant.it took me until 13,15 hrs to be paid and they’ only released the balances on my accounts on condition that they were all closed which I didn’t want to do having been a customer for 57 years with a turnover of millions. I was informed by the police that I was debarred from entering the premises again and if I tried to would be arrested. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020
