Visiting Bangladesh over the Christmas holidays using my card was amazing everywhere. (Developing world countries are moving on and catching up) didn't not get charged all these different rates for exchange then another charge for using it abroad and didn't keep getting asked to verify my purchase eveytime I topped up a pound worth of mobile credit just the first time yes it's inconvenient when you have to change your SIM (using local SIM because of roaming rates way high)and then get charged £3 for recieving a text, best move for me , watch out big banks !!! Simple ui, brilliant service

I've had traditional Bank accounts from Lloyd's for many years, but always found online banking clunky and ineffective. Starling has a simple login with no silly 5th 3rd and last character nonsense with easy to view income and expenditure Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

Literally life changing

I know saying that a bank has been life changing sounds a bit extreme but to me it has. Before Starling I was always rubbish at budgeting for the month, forgetting this bill or that bill and then ultimately eating toast for a week! That’s all history now because I split my money in to Starlings goal pots which takes money out of your main balance and in to a saving pot which you can name them accordingly such as rent or phone bill etc, and then you can see exactly what you have for the month and spend as you please. I love it. Easy peasy set up, spend notifications - even before the cashier gives you the receipt, and round up which can round up your purchase spend to the nearest pound and put it in to a separate pot. First time I've ever recommended a bank to friends and family!

Fantastic app, excellent customer service, and great to be able to use my card abroad without charges. I opened one account for starters to test it out, and now have two current accounts (including a joint account) and a Euro account, and I will start using my new business account soon. My partner has also opened a current account, as have many of my friends to whom I have recommended Starling. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

The bank I have been waiting for

Love the app. Perfect exchange rate abroad. Saving pots are a great idea to save for goals. Easy to pay friends or request payment. Super easy bank to be with, customer service is great. Will never go with a different bank! Reviewed on: 19th January 2020
