Best bank ever

After passing security checks, the accessibility of this bank is very good. Every purchase that is made on your card is summarised by a pie chart. The instant notifications when you use your card is very handy and you even have an option to round up every transaction to add to a personal saving fund. Should you choose to take advantage of the option. The bank also shows any pending money that is arriving the day before. I cannot fault the technicality of this bank at all. Best of all, there is no monthly charge to use your card, like most other online banks. I've only been with them for a few months so its early days. But so far so good. Perfect for home and abroad!

I recently travelled to India, where you can only get the Indian currency once in India. My Starling card was great for both the exchange rate and ATM availability. My friends struggled to find a bank to exchange their British pounds, and had to pay high exchange rates at our hotels. Plus, I get a message on my phone telling me what I have just withdrawn, shortly after the transaction in GBP . It is very easy to transfer to or from my account via my mobile, what ever country I am in. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

So easy to setup and use

My daughter has had her Starling account for some time and she recommended them. Really easy to set up and use. I have opened a Euro account as we do a lot of travelling in Europe in our motorhome (free to withdraw euros). I also like being notified on any purchase, a great security feature. Eventually i will gradually move my current account from HSBC as in 30 years i have had no interest. First month on Starling with a small balance i made £0.45 interest. Highly recommended.
