Simple new age of banking

Just goes to show how the old banks are behind, too busy on how to take in more profit rather than how they can improve banking services for people. Starling are turning the banking world on its head and it’s about time, amazing bank and service, just needs the bells and whistles of regular brick and mortar accounts. Starling - the future of banking

I have been with my legacy bank for around 20 years and they had by far the best app experience for a bank, that was of course until I joined Starling. A few minutes was all it took to open my account, not lengthy forms to fill in and no wasted lunch breaks, it seemed too easy. After incorrectly adding my sort code I contacted support, I was answered instantly, in the app! Everything from live transactions and notifications make managing money a breeze and for the first time I'm saving using goals. No setting up new savings accounts, I create as many as I want and get a better rate than my legacy bank. The best thing about the app... I can ditch that little plastic card reader! Happy days. This is how banking should be, instant, helpful and innovative. My legacy bank is now redundant. Reviewed on: 31st January 2018

Top notch customer service

A few months ago I got locked out of the application due to the amount of devices registered. This was because the app would kick me off occasionally and I would need to log back in registering it as a new device. This meant I had to contact customer service which I had trouble reaching; I had no response to an email and it took hours to get through to the online support service but once I did all was resolved quickly. Due to the troubles Starling Bank sent me chocolates and a hand written apology showing the love the company has for its customers, its what makes it impossible for me to ever go back to Santander. Great banking app

Easy sign up, quick response (card within days but into my Apple Watch and Apple Pay within minutes. Used the card in Australia, clear simple and cost effective transactions with no hidden “fees” or transaction costs. Incredibly simple interface, navigation and spend all mapped out.....Have Monzo as well and Starlingbpios it due to the goal savings and the fact that I don’t need my card in my pocket!!!! Would recommend if your looking for a simple no nonsense, transparent bank account which has a low carbon foot print to boot (no high street presence!) Reviewed on: 26th January 2018
