Excellent interest rate on the current a/c. Like the opportunity to create sub accounts (eg holidays) within it without any impact on interest. like free ATM abroad aspect and always sensible on-line chat to resolve any queries. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

efficient with excellent service...

I’ve always had really efficient & excellent service from Starling. When utilising my card abroad, exchange rates & charges have been better than other providers I’ve used. If I had one criticism, it would be trying to accept funds from another country can be challenging & in some cases they just won’t accept a transaction. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

Easy to use

Extremely easy to use, convenient, good value (free!). The ability to split the current account into different spaces is very useful, both for security (just in case), and to save headspace on budgeting money for the month and without constantly tracking what needs to be kept aside, without having to take money out or move it between accounts. Card controls are very easy to adjust (locking when you can't find your card, cancelling if you REALLY lose your card, turning off magstripe by default so card can't be skimmed, etc.), and assigning virtual cards to the spaces is also a nice feature e.g. to spend from 'treat money' directly. In customer service terms, I have sometimes needed to reset password which requires a human review, and this has always happened quickly. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

Excellent bank.

Excellent bank. Been with them for several years and despite tempting offers from other banks have no intention of switching. They are a modern bank that understands what customers need to better manage their finances. The pots for saving, bills and virtual cards have been a game changer for my family.
