Wouldn't change a single thing

I relocated to the UK after spending 20 years overseas. Despite having a well remunerated role and not wanting any form of credit facility, none of the regular high street banks would let me open an account with them. 20 months later I'm still waiting for one to get back to my initial enquiry. Starling let me get set up with no fuss whatsoever. I haven't missed having a branch to go into and I wouldn't dream of moving away from them (despite those same banks now chasing me to take out credit cards with them). I got tired of using other banks and Starling saved me.

Top marks for customer service and app functionality

Resolved my dispute with a 3rd party inside 24 hours, while family are still struggling with Barclays for weeks over similar issues. Starling app is super user friendly and functional. Would never go back to an old style bank now. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024
