Simple, intuitive app based banking for the modern age

Starling app is a delight to use to manage payments & track spending. Fee free foreign transactions and cash withdrawals are positive benefits to simplify travel. All round an excellent banking experience and I'd recommend Starling to anyone seeking to simplify their banking without the need for branch offices etc. Reviewed on: 27th February 2023

Starling-best current account

A model of Modern banking

There's always something new with Starling, their app and their products. At least 2 a year, I get new capabilities with their app that takes years for old guard banks to adopt. Easiest banking ever.

Starling is what every other bank should strive to be ,its so easy ,its unbelievable for a bank to be this easy ,especially with their spaces feature its the way all other banks should be ,need to talk to someone you can non of this you'll have to make an appointment with the manager,need someone there is an actual person on the other end,not a robot ,you ask them a question its answered with 5 minutes simple and easy all day and night banking,what's not to like 11 out of 10 as far as I'm concerned, well done and i hope you win . Easy

I am 59 yrs old and am a complete dinosaur when it comes to technology ,so have had a joint account with my husband for all my married life, (33yrs). I started a new job 3yrs ago and decided i wanted to have my own account, as i could never buy my husband a gift fir his birthday or xmas without him knowing the cost and where it was from!!!!!! I can't even remember where i had heard about Starling bank but thought it sounded ok so jumped right in, i did it all on my own too. I was a bit shocked when i realised there were no high st banks that i could go to if i had a problem, but saying that any problems that have arisen i have used the online chat and they have been very helpful. Can i just add that most of my online chats is me asking, "who do i do this, or how do i do that" but it has all been explained perfectly. Im very happy with my Starling account, and am always telling people about how easy it is and if i can do it, anyone can!!!! Reviewed on: 26th February 2023

Safe and sensible

So easy on line …. I know instantly when money leaves my account … and I no longer need a cheque book. Spending money is easily organised and I can use my phone for all payments …. Really cool. Reviewed on: 26th February 2023
