The best UK bank

I have had about a year's worth of experience with Starling Bank so far and I have had only great experiences with them compared to other banks, their customer service is very had to beat, quick to respond and give detailed answers and solutions that can solve any issue or question you may have. The app itself although lacking some features they are very well thought out and work extremely well, for example the virtual cards feature for budgeting, bills manager and the spending chart for an overview of your finances. Have I mentioned the card yet? The physical card you get through the post is extremely beautiful, a light teal green with only the word starling bank on the front, every time I'm out in public I proudly hold out the card as if I'm someone who just got an American express platinum card. Simple and helpful

Being with Starling Bank is so easy; all app based and simple to use. Love the idea of separate pots eg for holiday savings, which is hidden from sight yet counts towards the whole account for interest purposes. Love it Reviewed on: 23rd January 2023

Best (British) bank

Best current account, best app, best API, best customer support - used them for years, used a lot of others on and off in between to find the perfect set up and always come back to starling - can't recommend them enough (especially now with virtual cards on pots, perfect for budgeting!) The BEST current account provider

There’s just something about the simplicity but vast functionality of the starling app. So many features that the big banks are slow to catch up with. Some have similar features but they just can’t do it as well. Such as: the budgeting features and sheer amount of categories to make it personalised to you; The ability to separate your money however you see fit without having to apply for god knows how many savings accounts and then waiting a day for them to be set up. The user interface is clean, and professional. But it’s also fresh. All banking mobile apps look the same but starling stands out on top. Customer support is superb also. Quick response and incredibly helpful. I think that shows the staff clearly must feel good about the company they work for! P.s I work for one of the big 4!! And I cannot believe how many simple features starling have (that make it the best!) that we just can’t evolve. We’ll always be stuck in our old ways, trying to develop into a digital world without a clue what to do. Reviewed on: 20th January 2023
