Terrible Company

Have been waiting 3 months for a determination on my claim. Poor customer service. Very difficult to contact them by telephone. Constantly find excuses to not give decision on claim, ask for more information that isn't necessary, misplace supporting evidence that has already been sent. Seem to do everything in their power to avoid paying out. Blame covid, spike in claims etc..... for delays in dealing with claims but actually they just seem totally incompetent! I have an annual policy which still has over 6 months to run, should I decide to travel again within this time I fully intend to take out a new insurance policy with a different provider such is my lack of confidence in this company!! I would hate to have to deal with them in a real medical emergency whilst abroad. Reviewed on: 15th July 2022

Claiming is hell

Been trying to claim for 3 months. One of those organisations that is 'all promise and no delivery'. Their TP reviews are all about the buying experience. The Claims are outsourced to a terrible company which puts up every barrier to a successful claim; can't get through; documents disappear; people telling you different things; blaming covid; blaming flight cancellations; losing information; If you do. yourself one favour it life, avoid Staysure like the plague and don't be taken in by the 'policy buying' reviews. Don't bother claiming.

Not enough staff; can't get through my online claim and docs have disappeared from my online account. Their stars are for sales... definitely, definitely not claims. Reviewed on: 19th May 2022

Cover for holiday poor

We paid for a family policy and when it came to making a claim the process was slow took 2 months, virtually no communication and no replies to emails, payout was lower than expected and so certainly wont be using again Reviewed on: 15th October 2021
