I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

As soon as i contacted step change they walked me through my finances and created an affordable repayment plan for all my debts and contacted each creditor to inform them of my repayment plan. They also review your financial situation annually to highlight any significant changes to your financial situation. I cannot recommend them enough if you feel overwhelmed by your debts please do not hesitate to contact them, you will be glad you did. Reviewed on: 14th August 2022

I am so grateful for the help and support I received from Step Change. At a hugely difficult and stressful time, Step Change employees were helpful and supportive without being judgemental. They patiently listened and helped me to work out a solution to my financial problems that had previously been causing me worry and stress. The people I spoke to were so patient and guided me through the debt management plan process. The online service is very useful too, with advice and information. A very knowledgeable and reassuring team at the end of the phone who don’t rush you they listen. The online information and support is also easy to follow. I find the news letters and articles very interesting and informative.
