Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Exceptional Service

The service I received from all the staffs excellent. Throughout the process of setting up the Debt ManagementPlan, all the staffs I spoke with talked me through the process explicitily. I had a lot of confidence in their advice and after setting up the plan, my mind is now at rest. I am no longer worried and having sleeplessnightsabout my debts. Helped immensely.

Realising my debts were getting out of control I contacted Step Change and they went through my options, its was really straight forward for me to put a plan of action in place that was affordable to me and to be able to see a way out of crippling debt.
