Renewed confidence

After going on maternity leave and realising I couldn't afford childcare and be in full time work and debt accumulated from moving and getting married. I contacted Stepchange and they were able to put my mind at ease, talked me through all my options, helped me do a budget review and find a solution to paying off my debts without causing bankruptcy or having debt collectors knocking on my door. It was a renewed confidence, after being terrified of the mounting interest and scary calls and letters sent for missed payments. As soon as a Payment plan was sorted, I stopped receiving letters and calls and could just have contact with Stepchange. The staff were extremely helpful and gave me peace of mind.
