Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Amazing service by amazing people.

I would just like to say how amazingly helpful Step Change have been to my wife and I. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer February 2023. With this we had to accept the poor financial situation we were in.From start to finish Step Change have been great.They explained everything and we’re patient and sympathetic with our predicament. Life changing

Extremely glad I plucked up the courage to approach Step Change, I can relax knowing my debts are being paid off at a rate I can afford. Yes, it's going to be tough living on a smaller amount each month, but I was willing to sacrifice. I just wish I applied sooner. No1 Debt management company ever

I was with another debt management company to start off with, but the stress did not go away. Not only did they charge a fee, my debts seemed like they weren't going down. I switched to Step Change and immediately I can see the difference in my debts balances. There is no monthly fee to manage my debts for me.
