Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Eased the worry and stress

Contacted StepChange due to debt issues and they have been so professional and helpful. They guide you every step of the way, there when you need them and take the worry and stress out of the situation. They can’t pay your debts for you but they will help you with a plan that helps you pay off your debts within your budget. They talk to your creditors on your behalf, negotiate payments and it stops the stressful letters and phone calls. I felt so ashamed at my age to get into debt

Step change made me feel better about myself by being understanding, supportive and sorting out my debt with an affordable plan of action. They took all the worry away from me by consolidating and informing all my debtors. I cannot thank them enough and they were no charges for the exceptional service. I can't thank them enough. Best Debt Management

Step Change help me before until I debt free. But with this government and cost of living gone up, I am for the second time fall in to debt again. I contract Step Change for help and Step Change put everything on plan. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023

Took a weight off my mind.
