Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Feeling positive

Step change has helped me tackle my debt problems, in the past I was struggling a lot financially but now I’ve got my debts under control and feel more positive about the future a big thank you to step change and I will recommend them to anyone who needs help with their debts! Wonderful work

I approached step change when I was struggling with debt and unable to maintain food on our table because I had dug myself in so deep and trying to stay on top. Change so many lives

Words can’t explain how helpful and amazing step change has been Without them I would be lost !
