Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Exellent service .

I was in bad debt around 13,000 and was paying a fortune in interest ,didnt know what to do i came across cccs and they helped me set up an iva,now years later i am owing less than 3,000 and the creditors stopped charging me inrerest,highly reccomend to anyone in debt you wont look back .And the peaple are so helpfull and supportive.Thumbs up all round. Our luck changed...

Our luck has changed for better when Step Change took over our debt management. It's very professional staff reassure us and advise what we should do and how.
