There in my hours of dispare

Having first lost my husband, then my family business, I had racked up personal debts. To have someone to take over talking to everyone to organise a payment plan, was needed for my delicate state of mind. I was beyond being able to cope with the worry. Stepchange were very fast in turning everything round and putting that layer between me and my creditors. It enabled me to sleep and slowly rebuild some of my confidence. StepChange saved my mental and financial health

I can’t thank Stepchange enough! I honestly thought debt had become an inevitable part of my life. I was always coping with just being on the edge of whether or not I could afford my life. I was stressed and anxious, my mental health was fragile at best. As soon as StepChange helped me, from the first phonecall to the arrangement of my DMP I felt like I wasn’t alone. I trusted their advice and felt confident that things were manageable. Now I’m nearly at the end of my DMP and I’m making plans for how to keep saving and continue budgeting. Real help when I needed it

I had got myself into such a state with bills coming in left right and centre. Thanks to Step Change, they have helped me manage all my debts, and be able to live without any worries.
