Life changing

After a couple of years not coping with anything much, having been widowed at an early age, and consequently getting into a lot of debt, I finally turned to Stepchange. Few good people left

I found it incredibly hard dealing with finances, I found my self in a lot of trouble through my own errors mistakes and life choices m. Like most men my age we mistake not asking for help as having good character and having a good pride about oneself and that I must my manage my own troubles by myself. But that wasn’t true I needed help and I refused to see it. It got to a point where In my head I had two options, take my own life and take the easy option. Or power on and get help. The help I got off these guys saved me, they helped me through my budget and helped me through setting up a payment plan. We all think of people in finance and debt collection as a scary bunch. Gave me back my life

stepchange have really given me my life back and helped me take control of finances that had been spiralling out of control for years. I'd previously been dreading payday each month wondering how I would pay all my bills, feed my family, afford my rent. Supportive
