Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Took away so much stress!

I don’t know what I would have done without Stepchange. I was so stressed with the amount of debt we had and didn’t know where to turn. They listen, do not judge and gave us different options to help with our debt. We chose the debt management plan, which we have been paying for a few years. When we need a review they are so helpful and ensure our monthly payment is right for us. There is now light at the end of the tunnel for us thanks to Stepchange and we never thought we would see it. 1st class company

I was in a very bad place a few years ago plucked up the courage to call stepchange they were brilliant set me up a plan and informed all my debts to inform them of how much each were going to be paid every month.
