Highly recommended

As a single mum on maternity leave I was unable to keep up with my credit card repayments. It was for the first time in my life I got into such a difficult financial situation and not being able to work for a while I didn't see a way out of the mess. I'm now on a debt repayment plan with StepChange and I can just say I highly recommend anybody struggling financially to get in touch with them. Debts due to diagnosis - able to see a way out

When I first contacted step change I was in a lot of debt due to a health diagnosis that escalated my debts. They were great, offered me advice - I decided I wanted a dmp as I knew it was my fault and wanted to pay back rather than go bankrupt. The dmp meant all interest was paused and I could repay in affordable amounts. I’m hoping to be debt free by the end of the year thanx to Stepchange Reviewed on: 24th May 2025
