Stepchange took away the stress of debt

StepChange helped me to find a way to repay my debts and take away the constant stress and worry. Whenever I need to call them they are very helpful and resolve any issues quickly. It’s good that I can see how my repayments are going with monthly statements but you can go on their website whenever you need to if you want to check something. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026

Good advice but not always easy to contact

Step Change are very knowledgeable about debt and what things are available to deal with it. They're not always very easy to contact by telephone, no doubt because their service is in high demand, which makes it difficult because I'm working and can't make long calls/be on hold for long periods during the week. I find it does take quite a while for them to respond to email contact. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026

Then I found stepchange and they helped me to get my debt under control now I’m almost completely debt free and still able to do all the things I want to do and I could have done that without the amazing help and support from stepchange.
