Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

They were knowledgeable kind and caring. They made me feel safe and secure. I felt threatened with all the bills that I had to pay and not enough money for essentials. I felt like a failure and incapable of looking after myself. I found Stepchange to be so helpful to me when i was...

I found Stepchange to be so helpful to me when i was at a time in my life when i was struggling with debts. They were able to sort a plan out to suit me and my income and to speak to my creditors to save me having to. I am nearing the end of my plan and its a wonderful feeling .
