Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

Getting Help when you Really need it ..

This was an immensely helpful set up when I first called StepChange. I didn’t know I could find a positive way out of debt, one that has ultimately helped me reconsider my relationship to money and fear, when through illness, I had no choice but to use credit. Glad we made the right decision to use StepChange

We have used StepChange's service for a few years now and have always found them to be very helpful. Life changing, lifted a lot of stress

I was directed to StepChange by a wellbeing team at work, the only regret I have is that I wish I'd have known about them sooner. They've been incredibly helpful, friendly and non judgemental.
