Takes the weight of your shoulders.

Takes the weight of your shoulders. Stops the constant phone calls and the fear of the knock on the door. The service is amazing yoh can ring or email and once your plan is set and it’s an amount you can afford you pay them monthly and they do the rest. You will also see a rough date for when your are debt free. Yes it may be many years of but it’s within reach. if they are not able to match numbers to sort a payment plan they will offer other ways to help you become debt free. Reviewed on: 7th May 2026

StepChange have helped me enormously

StepChange have helped me enormously over the past few years by supporting me in getting my debt payments under control. They arranged affordable monthly payments with multiple creditors, which immediately reduced the stress and worry I had been feeling. Before contacting them, I was constantly receiving letters from creditors and felt overwhelmed, but their advice and support helped me regain confidence and peace of mind. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt judged. They are a wonderful charity doing incredibly important work for people who are struggling financially, and I truly believe they deserve recognition for the help and support they provide every day. Life Saver

I cannot tell you how grateful i am to StepChange. At a time i felt completely overwhelmed by debt they were able to create a debt repayment plan for me that allowed me to make repayments within my means and to keep the creditors from harrasing me. Its not easy making the first step.

Its not easy making the first step to getting things sorted out but I'm glad i did. They listened, offered real advice and a much better option for me moving forward.
