I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

I really had got myself into trouble with money.

I really had got myself into trouble with money. I was living off of credit for day to day living. I didn't think I had anywhere to turn to. Then I stumbled across stepchange. It took a while for me to go with them. Then I rang them and it was the best decision I've ever made. I will have payed off all my debt in November this year. So happy and relieved. Loss of a partner

I recently lost my partner and we had a joint account with stepchange. They were very helpful and sympathetic with my situation and paused my account for three months so i could have a break and get things sorted.
