Supportive and Caring

Stepchange is the understanding, none criticising option for anyone who has unfortunately fell into debt I would sure recommend them. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2021

I new start with Stepchange

I was struggling every month juggling bills and always worrying about how I would be able to afford all my payments. I looked how to try and reduce my monthly outgoings and found Stepchange online. The online process was so easy to do and at the end of it my monthly outgoings were massively reduced. Stepchange contact all your creditors for you and it was not stressful at all. Get yourself started.

The worst thing about using Stepchange is picking up the phone. Once you're on the phone and talking through everything with someone who’s listening, nonjudgmental, and genuinely helpful, mere weeks later you’re paying back, and finally able to breathe. If you’re in financial trouble, keep panicking, and can’t see a way out, get on the phone. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

Can’t recommend them enough. Top team!

After getting myself in to a ridiculous amount of debt, I knew I had to do something. I googled Stepchange after seeing them as a free advice service. I filled out the income and expenditure form and sent it off. They worked out what I could comfortably pay and were non-judgmental. I now receive no calls from any of my creditors, just occasional letters, which have to be issued as standard to satisfy FCA rules. All in all, they have taken the stress out of everything and I can’t thank them enough for their help in getting me back in to a good place. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

Excellent communication and outcome.

Excellent communication and outcome. Removed worry and debt collection problems. Stopped interest building up and advised on the amount of monthly payment to make without it becoming a burden. There when you really need them

Stepchange have been amazing, they have helped me to get control of things have have supported me through every step. They are quick to respond to messages and answer any concerns or questions you may have. They also NEVER make you feel ashamed and just want to help you get back on your feet! Great experience with step change, really helped me...

Great experience with step change, really helped me out of a very difficult situation and allowed me to sleep at night , easy to see how my debt was going down each month and was able to budget my finances in an affordable way .Step change handled every thing for me in a kind and sympathetic manner .It has helped me become debt free over time .Excellent thankyou so much .I highly recommend them if you are struggling.
