It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Best thing I did was get in touch .

Once you get in contact about your debt it's a big start, they are there to help you not judge you & that's exactly what they did for me. Not wanting to open your mail or answer your door was the biggest problem, step change turned my life around, I had got into a hole I couldn't get out of & couldn't make ends me & they changed all that for me when I entered all the information. It was a big lift & it literally changed my life for the better me . I am still paying monthly payments & managing .It was the biggest decision I had to make , and the best one I have ever taken in my life . And I am a better me with a big weight lifted . And I got step change to thank for that . If you get into debt the best advice is not to ignore it , I did for too long ? Get help it's what I did eventually and I am very grateful for their help . This is your chance at a lifeline; don’t underestimate the impact of your first call to Stepchange. There is no judgment, just listening and understanding. And… a way forward. When my husband lost his business he hid the legacy debt from me, until it was almost too late. A friend recommended Stepchange so we sat together and called. The call handlers are empathic and calm. They made us see the road ahead and what we needed to do. They took a huge weight from us and contacted companies for us (where possible). I’m honestly not sure how we would have sorted things without them. Spiraling debt can happen to anyone - don’t feel bad and don’t let it destroy you. My financial life looked brighter!

The day I spoke to Step Change, was the day my financial life started to look brighter! Was paying off debts with credit cards and not making a dent in my payments as interest rates were high.
