Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Stepchange - absolutely brilliant organisation.

Stepchange came into our lives when we h ad been scammed out of all our money and I mean all. They were and are an absolutely fantastic organisation and gave us hope in our hour of need. I cannot explain how much they helped us to realise we were not alone and their help was crucial to us when we needed it most. Give Them a Call They Will Help

I have been with Stepchange for about ten years and as soon as I started on my payment plan, the constant phone calls and associated worry stopped. It is nice to see tge debt going down year by year and last time I looked I was pleasantly surprised by how little was left to pay off.
