It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. The help we received from Stepchange was life changing.

The help we received from Stepchange was life changing. After years of struggling with mounting debts - the interest payments were crippling. Stepchange helped us to negotiate a repayment plan which enabled us to pay off our debts over a number of years. We are now debt free, I don't think we could have done it alone. I cannot thank Stepchange enough. During my debt management I was diagnosed twice with cancer. Stepchange was there supporting and getting me through. I am very happy that i asked Step Change for help. They took on my case straight away and gave me a chance to breath. The only problem i have is that 3 credit card companies are still threatening me that i am not paying and it is affecting my credit rating monthly. Reviewed on: 5th May 2024

I can finally breathe again!

When I called StepChange I was in a bad place, I felt like I was never going to get out of this circle of paying the minimum but only really paying the interest and not reducing my debt. The advisor was ever so lovely, she did not judge me and she truly wanted to help me out. I am now 18 months into the plan and I can finally breathe again. Each month, my debt is reducing and I am closer to becoming debt free. I would 100% recommend this service. And the best thing is that it’s free! So every penny you pay is reducing your debt.
