I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Every interaction expertly handled

Every phone call and every interaction I have had with StepChange has been supportive and sensitive to my financial situation and my mental health. Every member of staff I have spoken to has been kind, considerate and patient. The services they have provided me with have genuinely changed my life. No matter what I presented them with, they made it all seem more manageable, setting realistic and achievable goals. I now feel more in control of my finances, thusly my life. I can’t recommend Step Change enough.

Stepchange saved me

At the age of 64, I had debts exceeding £50,000, and I didn't think I'd ever get out of debt. I was advised to contact Stepchange. They weren't judgmental. They offered sympathy, and a constructive and practical plan to pay off my debts within a realistic time. I am now approaching my 70th birthday, and I retire tomorrow, debt free, with substantial savings. I cannot praise Stepchange highly enough. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024

Lifesavers
