Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Step Change is a life saver for me

Lots of filling out forms and getting acquainted with online account at beginning, but these guys have gotten me out of impossible to pay overdraft fees and and late loan payments after I got scammed and hit rock bottom. As long you are consistent with your arranged monthly payments you will have no problems or unnecessary phone calls from them. They show up on my monthly direct debit list and they take care of all my debts for me, not having to worry about my debt, and allowing me to concentrate on getting back on feet, and they really do make things easier when you hit rock bottom and you need some space to pick yourself up, You also have the ability to choose how much you can afford to pay each month for all your debts together and they split the money for all your debts for you so you don't have to pay each debt individually, great customer service and helpful.
