It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. From Zero to Hero – StepChange Gave Me My Life Back I’m a guy in my 20s, and not too long ago, I thought life was over. I had no job, no direction, and £6,000 of debt I couldn’t pay off. It felt like there was no way out. Then I found StepChange. They helped me set up a Debt Management Plan (DMP) that actually worked for me. With their support, I’ve paid off almost all of my debt - and I’m nearly there. Just a little more to go, and I’ll be completely debt-free. StepChange gave me structure, hope, and a fresh start when I couldn’t see a way forward. Life is good now. I’m working again, and I finally feel in control of my future. Debt Management Plan Experience

Easy to get a Debt Management Plan online. It was recommended as the best option for me. Step Change contacted my creditors and arrange all the admin. Their recommendations to my creditors were accepted and all is proceeding smoothly after some 9 months. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
