Help when you need it

Stepchange is helping me to manage my debts and to get my life back on track. They worked out what I could afford monthly and agreed this with my creditors. Having to make only one payment every month to stepchange ensured that all payments to creditors where paid in a timely manner. Once a year i review my current income and expenditure and change my payments accordingly. Although I have never failed to make tge required payment I admit it’s not always been easy, unexpected things happen in life but I have overcome them.now, after 4+ years, I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and by the end of next year I will become completely debt free.. I got myself into a difficult financial situation and was dealing with it for years until it got to the point where I physically had to ask for help to stop me from getting behind with payments. I was absolutely dreading it and cried a few times at the thought of it and I was back and to on the website before I finally gave in and asked for help. It was so simple and the process was all very quick. I got all the advice I needed and set up a debt management plan and the weight was really lifted off my shoulders. I really wish I had done it sooner and can't believe how much better I felt. I started having more money, was able to save for things I could have never done before all at the same time as paying my debt off. Each year they do a financial review which you can choose to pay more or less. I choose to pay a little bit extra a month and knocked a year off my plan end date. If you are unsure of what to do with your financial situation if you are having difficulties I would definitely recommend step change and anyone who feels scared of taking the step please don't, it's one of the best things that you could do!
