Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Best Debt Management Ever

There adviser's are very professional and listen to you and give you the best options for your situation, I am a very independent and private person and could not believe I had got myself in such a financial situation. I had become very withdrawn and depressed. StepChange were fantastic, put me at ease and explained everything, helped me do my cost list and debt list got in touch with the companies and let them know how much I could afford to pay back each month, I wish I had done it sooner and not let my pride get in the way.. The best at what they do!
