It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Step Change literally changed my life

I was overwhelmed by debt

I contacted StepChange when my debts became unmanageable. They explained my options clearly and helped me set up a debt management plan that matched what I could afford. There was no judgement, just practical advice and support. The process was simple, and they kept in touch in case anything changed. Thanks to them, I’m now making progress and no longer feel stuck. Stepchange literally saved my life.

Stepchange literally saved my life. I was depressed, anxious and in the depths of despair when I could not pay my credit cards, a debt ran up due to my divorce. But I contacted Stepchange and the staff were so empathetic. kind and knowledgeable . It has been sometimes been a struggle keeping up the level of payments as agreed, but I was determined to do so. I could have paid less as prices soared for utilities and food over the years. Stepchange would have re-negotiated my arrangement. However I did not want to lower the level of payments and now in 2025 I only have one more year until I am debt free. It makes me feel that all my birthdays and anniversaries are coming at once!!
