I was worrying about debt, then heard about step change, hesitated for a few weeks kept thinking about it and then contacted them. Take back control

Making the first phone call was the hardest step. I was embarrassed and scared about the mess we'd got into with our finances. The call handler was friendly and reassuring and I never felt judged. Our options were explained carefully and the final decision was ours. Our DMP was created with us, taking into account the size of our family and realistic living.
