It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. StepChange Saved the Day!!

My debts were spiralling out of control, particularly with the addition of high interest rates. I didn’t know which way to turn and then thankfully I heard about StepChange. They were absolutely invaluable with their help in working out a realistic payment plan for me with the debtors. It was such a relief to be able to talk to someone about it as I hadn’t told family or friends about my situation. I was working more than full-time hours but struggling to keep my head above water, just to pay for basic living costs. They were very understanding. I have a DMP in place thanks to Stepchange and have to thank them for giving me a chance to sort my financial situation out as the alternative for me was to be a very very dark place as I had a multitude of debts and getting the parties to see I was willing to try and sort my errors out would not have been possible without Stepchange and their brilliant staff.
