I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Helpful and reassuring.

I had been struggling with debt for several years, mostly due to an abusive ex partner. It took me some courage to start the process with Step Change but, they were so amazingly helpful, discussing the finer details with me and encouraging me to ensure I had enough to live on after their payment is taken each month. Their expertise is second to none and I urge anyone who is considering a debt management solution to speak to these people first. Reviewed on: 10th July 2023

Life Changing

The support to get my debts on track and manageable has been life changing. Its gave me great control and has helped my mental health so much, i can't thank them enough. The way they helped both online and by phone was brilliant - not patronising or judgemental, just supportive and helpful. it wasn't complicated and once everything is set up - it just runs smoothly so your don't have to worry. Its Free, some companies try and charge you and take a fee - but it was all free and i have an end date to becoming debt free. An amazing service. Reviewed on: 10th July 2023

Great service

Staff where very helpful and friendly, talked me through everything and made it all very easy to understand...sent all papers work through email when they said they would ..give me time to read through everything and where there to answer questions..would highly recommend them as they take all the stress away .. great service overall Reviewed on: 10th July 2023

Best thing I ever did

This company is a life saver. The people who you speak to are kind patient and very knowledgeable. They helped me through it all, not just about my debt, but my health as well, informing me of different charities and suchlike that could help. In debt

With no where to turn and no idea what to do things where getting so difficult to keep things together ,then these guys took all the pressure away straight away from the very first phone call ,they reassure you ,help you ,and life starts again where each day you can see the light ,come up with some great options and help you to find the right one for you ,all the people you speak to very helpful and very nice ,recommend to anyone that may be in this situation. Understanding, Patient, Fast Acting

I have had a fantastic experience with Step Change. Spent a couple of hours talking through a solution in the form of a payment plan. they then dealt with the creditors directly. All I have to do is meet the monthly payment. No issues at all. Reviewed on: 10th July 2023
