It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Get Help

I was in debt from a few creditors to the point of no return so spoke to StepChange and they took over my debts with a pay monthly plan. Very helpful and I now have money every month to spend on my children while still paying off my debts. I still receive letters from my debts but I ignore them now as I know they're being handled. Saved my life

I’ve literally hit rock bottom and due to a number of varying circumstances found myself in a ton of debt and not able to talk to anyone. Stepchange changed that.. I’m now paying affordable regular amounts and feel less like I’m drowning. Plus I’ve learnt to budget and learn and get support about what the future holds for me. Reviewed on: 8th July 2023

Easy to set up and such a relief

In times of trouble

Helping me to sort out my Debt Problems after being scammed

i was scammed twice last year which was awful and it badly affected my confidence. Since then I have spent hours and hours on the phone to my bank and Credit Card companies and other related organisations. I took the advice of my bank and contacted Step Change who have been very kind helpful and considerate as they took me through all the options open to me. I am now completing my budget to enable me to continue with a DMP. Without their help I really do not know what I would have done. This has been the worst experience of my life and I am getting through it but I know I could not have done that without the ongoing help and support of Step Change. Heros dont always wear capes

I reached out to step change a little over 12 months ago, when frankly I thought I had no chance of seeing any way out of the trouble I had found myself in. They went through all of my debts and came back with suggestions with actions on how to resolve me position. Additionally they reviewed my ingoings and outgoings to help me create a manageable budget whilst also ensuring all of my debtors received payment. Without them, I dread to think where I would be but I can assure you that it wouldn’t be a good place.
