Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

StepChange saved me from going under

StepChange don't charge me a fee so all the money reduces the debt. They worked out an affordable plan. Without them I would have probably suffered a complete breakdown. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

A 5-star service

Finally debt free! .

After years of being in debt I finally reached out. And I am so pleased I did! The staff are helpful non judgemental and helped explain the whole process and how it would affect me and my credit score. Just under 4 years and I have paid back everything I owed. Help when neede

Was very worried and being bombarded with demand letters,and had been made to retire.Didn't know where to turn.Looked for help in Internet and found Step change Thank heaven.
