Consistently good prices and service

I look after the home insurance for my elderly mother ann we have used Swinton for the past 5 years. Their renewal quotes are competitive, and their customer service excellent, which we had to find out the hard way after a burglary in 2012. The way it was handled was superb, and we received a pay-out within a fortnight. Reviewed on: 7th November 2015

Very Helpful

I find my local Swintons branch to be very helpful. It's nice to be able to talk to someone face to face about my insurance needs rather than dealing with a call centre. It's also nice to be able to speak to the same person every time and develop a relationship with them rather than speaking to someone different every time. Each year they always find me the best quote and cover. I'm very happy to use them and I can't see myself switching away from them. Reviewed on: 25th August 2015

HSBC

I find my local HSBC branch to be very good. The staff always let me know about knew offers that I can take advantage of and I always receive a warm welcome in branch. The queues in the branch are never horrendous like they are in some banks. They've got some good deals on at the moment with their Advance account. I've been with them for 25 years and I can't ever see myself switching away from them. Reviewed on: 25th August 2015

helpful and affordable

having been with them a couple of years for home and contents they constantly make sure you get the best price and if their price is over other competitors they will generally give you a discount to match it one way or another. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

Arranging Home Insurance whilst Loft Conversion ongoing

My home insurance fell due for renewal a few days before a loft conversion was due to begin. The staff at Swinton in Harrogate were incredibly helpful in advising of requirements to inform current Insurers. When current insurers requirements were becoming rather onerous, Swinton pro-actively sought alternative quotes from other Insurers who were much more accommodating with the ongoing building work. The whole process took several days, and much work by Swinton, and all this was done with great communication and dedication from the team - despite the fact that their earnings must have been very small on a premium of less than £150 Reviewed on: 10th August 2015
