You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Good experience, easy to use

I have had a really good experience with Tembo’s Lifetime ISA so far. The interest rate is competitive, the app is simple to use, and getting set up was quick and hassle free. I like that there are no teaser rates that drop after a few months, and the monthly interest feels like a nice extra on top of the government bonus. Tembo provides excellent customer service.

Tembo provides excellent customer service. I've never had a negative interaction with the staff, and the service they provide to support with mortgages as a first time buyer has been fantastic. Excellent communication

Easy to move money into. Regular updates via email when things are changing e.g. when the new government budget and changes to rates with Bank of England. Good interest rate. Reviewed on: 8th February 2026

Great Banking option

Simple and easy to use app, very competitive interest rates and higher than most of the major banks. Really good customer service whenever I've had an issue they were quick to respond and quick to resolve the issue. Reviewed on: 8th February 2026

Tembo has a great custoner service and app

Tembo has a great customer service team that are very knowledgeable with regards to helping find mortgage products that suits the customer. I have had the pleasure to speak with with them multiple times and in both instances have been great in finding me the perfect product suited to my needs and any changes to help increase chances of affordability. Their app has a great UI which helps track Lisa or isa product you have signed up for and useful information surrounding changes made by the government.
