You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Website needs reworking

Have been using tembo to save for a mortgage for my first home. The app is very easy to use. The website while good a comparing rates and deals lacks clear direction. Trying to find a certain rate left me going round in circles. It also lacks one key feature. This is the ability to see how much money you have in your account. This can only be seen on the app and I find this frustrating. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

In addition to competitive interest rates, a key benefit of Tembo is their very easy to navigate app and excellent customer service. Tembo make saving for my first home easy.

Tembo make saving for my first home easy. They give clear advice and update you when regulations change. They have a good savings rate meaning you get more for your money.
