About this product

You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo were a brilliant provider, with competitive interest rates, exceptional value for money mortgage and protection advice (free!) and excellent support in the run up to completion. Our vendors ended up compressing the timescales for completion and Tembo were brilliant and helped ensure our funds were released in time Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

My money is safe with Tembo and it has been the best place for me and my partner to save for our mortgage. There are plenty of benefits and I would reccomend Tembo to anyone saving for a mortgage! App is user friendly, customer service is brilliant (responsive and easy to talk to) as it’s real human not just chat bots. Interest rate is good, free mortgage services for saving customers. Also, additional resources and community forums are available to provide support, that’s a very handy starting point for first time buyers. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
