You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo feels modern

I’ve had a really positive experience with Tembo Bank so far. The app is easy to use and makes it straightforward to keep track of savings and account activity. One thing I particularly like is how clearly everything is explained, especially around savings options and interest rates, which makes it feel more transparent than many traditional banks. The sign-up process was quick and smooth, and I appreciated how simple it was to get started without unnecessary steps. Customer support has also been helpful whenever I’ve had questions, responding in a friendly and professional way. A big benefit is the focus on helping people build their savings, which feels encouraging and motivating. The features available make it easier to set goals and stay on track financially. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that as a newer bank there are still some features I’d like to see added over time, but the current experience is already very solid. Overall, Tembo Bank feels modern, transparent and focused on helping customers improve their financial situation. embo is a great savings app if you’re looking to build up savings, especially for a house deposit. The interface is easy to navigate and setting up accounts like a Cash ISA or Lifetime ISA is straightforward. The interest rates are competitive and everything is clearly explained in the app. I also like that it combines savings tools with mortgage guidance, which makes it helpful for planning long-term financial goals. Wow wow wow

When setting up my Lifetime ISA I became confused as it is my first time doing something like this. I contacted customer support and they we very clear and explained everything clearly and simplified it to make it more understandable. The app is fantastic, not overloading me with different icons or offers like other providers. I appreciate aswell the emails I receive that simplify any changes on the app or legislation changes and provide advice on what to do next. The interest rate is fantastic and I have nothing but praise for everything that is offered. My friends and family have all set up an account and keep saying how amazing it is.
