Helena was absolutely fabulous, taking the time to understand my situation and guide me to the best deal. Even when the first property fell through she helped and then when I returned for the successful purchase she pulled up my previous information so quickly you wouldn't have thought it had been nearly a year. Would give over 5 stars if I could!

After having troubles with a previous mortgage advisor and being told we would only get a mortgage for a certain amount, we reached out to tembo, with in a couple days of speaking to them we had a decision in principle, everything was plain sailing. Luke and Gemma were amazing, I would use them time and time again, fast replies, nothing was a bother, constant updates, tembo are absolutely worth 5 stars and I will be recommending them to everyone!! Absolutely excellent!

As a first time buyer, I’d already spoken with another mortgage broker who basically didn’t want to know me once he’d heard my income. Beth and Callum at Tembo however were helpful and informative, and I really felt like they knew their stuff and they were able to get me a very nice mortgage - something the previous broker had told me wouldn’t be possible! We had an amazing experience with our mortgage advisors through Tembo. Both advisors (Glen Fulham & Callum Doherty) were incredibly helpful and generous with their time, especially Glen who we spoke to many times on the phone — they never made us feel rushed, and no question ever felt too small or silly. As first-time buyers, the process felt daunting at first, but they truly reassured us every step of the way with clear explanations and genuine support. They were super efficient, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We felt completely looked after from start to finish and couldn’t be more grateful for their patience, professionalism, and kindness. Best mortgage broker for self employed/complex income

Tembo has been my mortgage broker for my first apartment purchase. Having gone through 3 other brokers in order to find the best deal, given my complex income situation as a self employed musician, the service I got from Tembo was quite incredible really. Kane was my broker and genuinely couldn't had done any more for me. He secured a mortgage for me that I never thought was possible - I was literally told by other brokers previously that such a deal was impossible in my circumstance. He went the extra mile in every aspect. Callum was my supervisor and was on hand and efficient with securing my mortgage and anything else I needed. If you're self employed, a first time buyer and need a broker, Tembo is absolutely the way to go. And a very fair price given the amount of work put in for my case.
