Paul Herbert & Jess Eley are Superstars!

Paul Herbert & Jess Eley have been absolutely incredible! Cannot shut up about the amazing service they have provided. When I first started looking into a mortgage I had no idea. Jess and Paul explained everything and ensured I felt supported throughout the entire journey. They have been down to earth, they have answered every question no matter how silly, they have gone above and beyond what I ever expected of them. I would recommend to any first time buyer who has no idea where to start as they are supportive, informative and genuinely look out for their customers. Great service from Tembo, soon to be first time buyers!

I've held a LISA with Tembo for a couple of years after switching due to their high interest rates. The process was easy to switch and the app user friendly. We then decided to use their mortgage services once we were ready to purchase a property. It was easy and quick to book an appointment and upload documents and the service was free as I held my LISA account with them. We quickly had a decision in principle which meant we could view properties and had an idea of what we could borrow and repayment values. We've had a great experience with Chelsea and Olivia and have been in touch with them for a few months due to our first purchase falling through at valuation stage. We have always been able to get a quick response, sound advice and although our second application was slightly more complex, we had not long moved rentals and I had stated a new job, we were still successful with a mortgage offer after the lender initially declined. We're now on our way to purchasing our first home! Really pleased we used Tembos service and would definitely recommend them to others. Reviewed on: 7th March 2025

We were finally able to get a mortgage

We used Tembo for help with getting a mortgage, after being turned down by our bank a couple of years ago. The process was really easy and we felt supported all the way. Joe Brighten and Emma Furmston were both brilliant and so helpful with answering all of our questions. Swift resolution on buy to let mortgage.
