A very customer friendly Building Society

I have had a mortgage with the building society several times over the years, and have always found the staff, products and service to be of a very high standard. In these difficult and busy times they have not let their standards drop. Reviewed on: 24th August 2021

Family Building Society Review

My initial enquiry was for a Bridging Loan, which the Family Building Society doesn’t offer. They did however, make an appointment for a call back from an advisor who would look into other options that they could offer. Linda, the advisor, was very patient and very knowledgeable and worked through various scenarios with me. Unfortunately based on my income I was unable to access the amount of money I needed. Linda didn’t stop there, but put me in touch with a third party with whom I can discuss other options. All in all, I felt that I really mattered and that she was doing her best for me. Can anyone ask for more? Reviewed on: 13th August 2021

Clear and

I have had a mortgage with the Family Building Society for 2 years and have always found them helpful and clear in telephone calls. They give the impression of wanting to make things happen, to always want to say yes rather than no and understand whatever stands in the way of achieving a mortgage, and work to clear the path. They are a small building society, but very easy to deal with. Can't recommend them highly enough. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2021
