Decent Interest Rate on Savings

I have a savings account that pays a decent interest rate when compared to other societies. I like the fact that you don't get marketing emails every five minutes and only get important updates to interest rates and account changes. I also like the website and how quick and easy it is to log in and not have to go through page after page to get to my account information. Nice, simple and streamlined. Every time I have need to ring up because I need to ask a question they have taken time to explain in simple English and finish asking me if I am happy with the answer or if they need to explain it another way. couldn't ask for more thanks. The service from David Hobbs from Family BS has been amazing. I have had many accounts with many banks and building societies but nothing has been quite like the service that I received from you. You chased up what was happening to my money and called me back several times to update me. Really great service. I am delighted by the fantastic service

I contacted by phone Family BS on thursday and Friday 21st and 22nd November 2024. Both ladies whom dealt with my calls were fantastic, I am pleased to say that the nature of my 2 calls were dealt with in the most polite and professional manner I was in fact so impressed that after my bond matured I re invested again into a new savings account with the Family BS. Keep up the fantastic service that the telephone operators provide I am really pleased with their way of dealing with queries. A brilliant experience which in this day and age is most refreshing. Instructions confirmation lacking

Telephone staff are polite, helpful and clear. My one criticism is: having used the phone-in system to give my ISA reinvestment instructions, I did not receive any confirmation by email or post. This was worrying and I had to phone again on the day of maturity to check that my instructions were going to be carried out. A simple email would have been sufficient. Unless specifically requested, we don’t confirm instructions upon receipt, as we send out a new opening certificate as confirmation once the ISA has matured & been reinvested. However we appreciate your feedback, and your comments have been passed to the relevant department for their consideration. I am pleased to hear that you found our staff polite and helpful.
